Somebody’s Not Listening

Remember, friends, your friend The Director reminds you to use Internet Explorer when reviewing your Web sites because it identifies JavaScript errors for you. I realize that JavaScript is a startling new technology like a pulse of Internet energy that developers can barely control, which explains the following problems.

Maybe that’s why the success message page ultimately renders incorrectly:

Unless, I suppose, the banner is supposed to be the only visual design element on the page. Could happen, I guess.

Then, Saturday Night Live spits out an error when you directly navigate to its video clip here:

You know how easily one could have found these problems? That easily.

But if you find them, you have to fix them, I guess. Best to stick with Firefox and Safari then, since those browsers forgive the little things–or at least won’t show their presence.
